THE CLARKE HISTORICAL MUSEUM is open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Wednesday - Saturday. We are closed Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. Admittance is $1.00, children under 5 free, members are free. We offer docent-led tours; a week’s advance notice is requested.
BECOME A MEMBER for as little as $15 a year you receive free admittance, our quarterly newsletter, notification of special events, and a 10% discount in the Clarke’s gift shop.

GALLERY DOCENT: Greet our visitors & handle gift shop sales. HOURS: Saturday, 11 AM - 4 PM. Weds - Fri, as needed.
CURATOR & REGISTRAR ASSISTANT: Work with the collection & help set up exhibits. Training as needed provided by Museum staff. HOURS: anytime, 9AM - 4PM, Weds. - Sat.
TOUR GUIDE: Inform school classes & adult groups about the Clarke’s exhibits. Training provided. HOURS: 9AM - noon, Weds - Fri.
INVENT YOUR OWN POSITION: There’s plenty of room for creative energy at the Clarke. We need help with publicity, volunteer recruitment, art work, special events, computer work, many aspects of collection management & research-- drop by and maybe we can find or design a project that lights your interest!
