The Clarke Historical Museum Presents: A Very Victorian Tea

It’s time for the Clarke Museum’s annual Victorian Tea Party! This year the event will take place in the gardens of the beautiful Magdalena Zanone House in Eureka. Catered by Brett Shuler Fine Catering, the tea party will feature classic tea sandwiches, scones, berries, sweets, and of course, lots of tasty teas.
As with our previous Victorian tea extravaganzas, guests will be encouraged to dress up, and we’ll have a Selfie Station and fancy hat competition for the creation of lasting memories -- and fun social media posts. Well-known local artist Toni Magyar will be live-painting at the party, so be sure to look your best! Everything will take place to the delightful backdrop of live harp music by Lonni Magellan.
This year we’re adding a silent auction and a live auction to the fun. Carol Clymo from the Benbow Inn will be our auctioneer for the event! Guests will also receive a ticket for the chance to win some really fun door prizes. Tickets are $60 for non-members and $50 for members of either the Clarke Museum or Eureka Heritage Society, and $300 for a table of six for non-members and $250 for members. For an additional $10 per person, we are also offering half hour tours of the Zanone House, which is a spectacular example of Victorian architecture.
Note: because the Zanone House is a private residence, it is not ADA compliant. We will, however, have accessible bathroom facilities on site and will do our best to accommodate all guests to the best of our ability.
