This event could not have happened without the amazing competitors: R & J BBQ, Southside Mike’s, Wild Oaks Grill, ABC BBQ, Ead’s Downhome, Sonny’s Inferno, Kentucky Boys BBQ, and Triple H BBQ in the Professional division, and Pelletheads, Get Smoked BBQ, Matthew Grier, Bear & the Rose BBQ, Bradshaw’s BBQ, Sea Smoke BBQ, and The Chaunch in the Amateur Division.

In the Professional division, R&J BBQ swept the field, taking the Best Chicken, Best Ribs, and the Overall Grand Prize of $500. Runners-up were Southside Mike’s chicken and ribs from Wild Oaks Grill. They were both awarded gift baskets from Cypress Grove.

The Amateur division had three different winners: Matthew Grier for Best Ribs, Get Smoked for Best Chicken, and Pelletheads won the overall Grand Prize. Taking a strong second place in each category, Pelletheads took home a $400 value electric smoker which was donated by Shafer’s ACE Hardware.
