The Humboldt History Symposium is a regional conference connecting renowned local historians (both new and experienced), representatives of regional historical organizations, and students and academics with the  community. Our purpose is to energize our local and regional historical community through engagement with historical narratives.

Our goals include:

  1. Promote the study and sharing of local historical work
  2. Forge connections between non-profit historical organizations and the local community
  3. Increase awareness and visibility of diverse regional research centers, museums, and other historical organizations.

The Symposium will be virtual this year through the Humboldt State University Library! Join our newsletter to be notified when registration to attend opens.
