Thanks to longtime museum supporter Carolyn Burns, this painting by Ferrier and Stocker of Eureka from 1854 received conservation treatment and looks amazing! Special thanks to Eureka Art and Frame for the amazing work. Originally donated by Mrs. Evan Danks, Catalog #: 1964.1.213

Carolyn Burns has privately funded the restoration of several paintings in our collection & continues to do so. As soon as one is finished, another one goes to the restorers at Eureka Art & Frame. The Clarke Museum appreciates her generosity in helping to preserve these local & historically significant pieces of art for future generations.
